Editorial Policy
How we research senior savings topics, distinguish education from advertising, and keep changing program information useful.
Last updated July 9, 2026
Our purpose
Senior Deals Club publishes plain-language educational guides about public benefits, household savings, health costs, and discounts for older adults and caregivers. Our content is general information, not legal, tax, medical, insurance, or financial advice.
How we choose and source topics
We prioritize recurring household costs and high-impact public programs before retail offers. Guides should link to the agency, program administrator, plan, utility, or merchant responsible for the underlying rule or offer.
- Government and program-administering sources come first.
- Eligibility and savings are never guaranteed.
- State, county, plan, carrier, pharmacy, utility, and franchise differences are stated clearly.
- Changing information includes a visible review date and source trail.
Review and corrections
Articles are reviewed for source quality, clarity, internal consistency, and unsupported claims before publication. A review date means the listed sources were checked during that month; it does not mean every local rule is unchanged.
Readers can report an outdated link or factual concern at support@seniordealclub.com. Material corrections should be made promptly and the review date updated.
Advertising and commercial experiences
Educational guides are separated from paid advertising and insurance lead-generation experiences. Advertising pages should be labeled, use applicable disclosures, and must not be presented as government benefit determinations. Commercial relationships do not change the sourcing standard for editorial guides.
AI-assisted tools
The savings quiz may use artificial intelligence to organize a checklist from answers you provide. AI output is educational, may contain errors, and cannot determine eligibility. Users should verify recommendations with official programs and qualified advisors.
